Luxury all-inclusive resort specialist Barceló Hotel Group to operate first waterfront five-star resort in Al Marjan Island

  • Spanish luxury hotel group will manage the 500-room, five-star and all-inclusive resort hotel set to open in Q3 2021
  • Represents the hotel group’s seventh venture in the UAE as it continues its global expansion
  • New hotel offering will add to an existing selection of more than 1,600 hotel keys on Al Marjan Island further boosting the tourism sector in Ras Al Khaimah

Spanish Barceló Hotel Group today announced that it will operate a 500-room, five-star resort hotel in the third quarter of 2021 on Al Marjan Island, the flagship waterfront destination by Marjan, the master-developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah.

The wide range of amenities at the five-star, all-inclusive resort will include a beachfront space, an extensive selection of exclusive F&B outlets including a themed restaurant and lobby lounge, meeting rooms, a pre-function space, swimming pools, and spas, among others. The hotel will add to appeal of Al Marjan Island and Ras Al Khaimah as one of the region’s leading tourism destinations.

Currently, Al Marjan Island has over 1,600 operational five-star hotel keys, including Rixos Hotels, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Accor Hotels brands, and more than 2,000 residential units including Bab Al Bahar residential and Pacific by Select Group.
